The Food Investors Society is committed to transparency and independence. To protect the integrity of our mission, we ask all volunteers to declare any personal, professional, or organisational interests that could reasonably be perceived as influencing their participation in the Society.

Do you have any current or past affiliations that may represent a potential conflict of interest?

Declaration:

“I confirm that the information provided is accurate and that I will notify the Society of any future potential conflicts of interest should they arise.”



4. Volunteer Agreement and Expectations (required)

Volunteering with The Food Investors Society is a collaborative, values-based relationship. Volunteers are not employees, and participation is flexible. However, we ask all Volunteers to uphold our values of integrity, inclusivity, and respect, and to represent the Society positively.

Declaration:

“I understand that volunteering is an unpaid role. I agree to act in line with the Society's mission and values, maintain confidentiality where required, and communicate clearly if I am unable to continue volunteering.”



5. Data Protection and Communications (required)

Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of administering your volunteer role, coordinating activities, maintaining appropriate records, and sending communications necessary for your involvement with The Food Investors Society. This processing is carried out in accordance with UK GDPR and is required for us to manage our volunteer programme and fulfil our legal and safeguarding obligations.


Marketing and Optional Updates (optional)

You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications at any time without affecting your volunteer role.
